I would like a raise!  Well if you want one, get started doing some real estate investing!  It is not just for people with money working for them or for those who have now found themselves without a job looking for a get rich quick scheme. Anyone who needs additional income now could find the route to a raise is not so difficult to achieve by simply becoming an investor.  Who knows your market best but you to know exactly where to do this?

I have heard too many in the real estate industry say ‘I wish I could buy property now’ in the last couple of years seeing deal after deal just from the MLS alone.  You can!  It doesn’t take much if any money.  Just got to want to do it, find the people to assist you to make it a reality and make it happen!

It has long been known that real estate investing is a great way to leverage the money of others.  There is no shortage of investors out there that have weathered and continue to weather the storm of the bubble and collapse and are still making it happen.  In fact, armed with the right real estate education, you could find that you can get started with very little to no cash of your own.  And being on ActiveRain, you already have a lot of great knowledge at your fingertips.  And don’t forget that leveraging the time of others (and never wasting it) is very important in real estate investing, especially if you aspire to building a business doing it full time or even part time along with being a realtor, contractor, inspector, etc.

The opportunity to make far more money per hour than you have experienced or ever thought possible is real.  The potential profits from investing in real estate can be quite significant.  While you may have to put in some real work at first to get your new venture off the ground, consider that you were likely going to be putting work in anyway so why not allocate some of that work toward a higher return?  The actual time you put into negotiating and flipping individual properties can provides an amazing ROI with or without rehab.

And lastly, you can always invest for cashflow.  There is no shortage of opportunities out there with various methods on how to purchase besides going to the bank and getting a loan.  Start getting cash flow to you and with a good property management company, you can do it with very little effort in many cases.  ROI’s of 20%+ are not hard to come by in many markets and in my market in Atlanta, one can generally do much better than that!

And don't forget your IRA or 401k!  With self directed IRA's, you can often jumpstart your business to start making things happen right away with the proper guidance.

So get in the game and give yourself that raise you wouldn’t mind having.  Multiple streams of income is a blessing to have and we are in a great market to create it today!
