I recently became aware of a puppy mill operating in Hillsville, Va.  How sad.  Thank god they have been put out of business.  Over 600 breeding females were found along with over 400 other dogs.  A call out to PetSmart is in order as they sent a tractor trailer full of food to the group organizing the rescue operation.  The dogs, when processed with be put with shelters up and down the east coast in order not to burden one area over the other.  The company, Horton's Pup, will get its act together and be allowed to stay in operation.  What a shame.
