housing for the disabled

Does anyone deal with the disabled as a niche? I am starting to contact agencies to see if those who find themselves in a situation which might mean changing from their home they are in now has to change. Many can rehab where they live presently, but others don't have that option. I was just wondering if others out there are doing anything with this population?

thanks

It has been on my radar screen for some time - but I have not yet taken the time to identify an agency and construct a program to work with them.  Thanks for the reminder!

I went through a summer where I worked with a variety of disable buyers, by coincidence.  The biggest challenge was a blind woman.  She had to "feel" the house, the walls, the carpet, the furniture.  It was absolutely exhausting, but she eventually found a house that "felt right".
