Do you have the Blogging Blues? By Feng Shui LI

commonsenseprovidence.com

Do not deny, we all have the Blogging Blues from time to time. Sometimes you can feel stuck, unmotivated or feel you lack ideas, especially if you are a Newbie to ActiveRain, or just blogging in general.  Maybe you are working hard, but do not see any recognition for the blogs you post. It's easy to become frustrated and for some they just give up.

Success in blogging does not come easy, it comes with hard work and dedication.  I'll admit, writing is not my forte, but give me a paint brush and we'll call it even ;)  My best advice for those who are feeling under the weather with blogging is to set a goals...for yourself.

mylot.com

I know when my mother wrote on ActiveRain, she would get featured left and right .  I would wonder, how does she get so many features?  Looking back, it all makes sense now. It seemed naturally people would gravitate to her writing style because she wrote how she spoke. She was true, honest and humble with the material she shared.  Many of her friends on AR expressed how they felt like they knew her with out even meeting in person.

Obviously, my writing style is very different from hers.  I choose to take a "teacher" like approach, making sure all information is precise, playful, informative and at times instructive. That is me, that is my personality when I am on the job. I want all those interested in Feng Shui to understand it, no matter what level of experience.  I know The Feng Shui Voice reaches beyond ActiveRain, so even if I do not receive comments or features, there are many more eyes reading my blog for advice and guidance.

Nice post Laura, I am like Jason lately, blogging blues, perhaps just the blues in general.  Perhaps I need to re-access my home (as this is where my RE office is) in a Feng Shui way.  Change is good and my home is very pleasant, but some changes of wall art, placement of furniture, and so on have put me into a odd space.  I like the changes but it a little disconcerting to me at the moment.  Too much change that I was not prepared for.  My husband like change, change, change and some of what he has wanted feels so disconnected to me.  Those suggestions were not used.

I have enjoyed your blogs just to let you know.

Hey Mary, when change is suggested according to Feng Shui it's best to take your time, not to shift and uplift the energy to fast.  You need time to adjust and than move forward with other changes.  If it's your office, even more so take the time to adjust because that is your nook, your space so the energy needs to accommodate you.   also there is dif change, not just the material, perhaps you speak of emotional or spiritual change? If you seek advice from a Feng Shui perspective let me know :)

Morgan, you got this :)

Andre, excellent to hear...I should join that club...yikes! :)

Laura,

Oftentimes, when we live through many heartaches, much loss and triumph over hardship, our hearts learn a new language. If we're lucky, our brain tunes in and allows that language to be channeled through in to our writing. Your Mom had this ability and it was well-earned.

You are young and have so much life yet to experience. I'm amazed at how you have taken to blogging with such diligence, imagination, skill and love. It all comes through in your writing. I know you are following in your Mom's footsteps when it comes to blogging.....I see it in every post.

Jo
