While writing an offer on a property this week, my clients informed me of a new litter of pups they had at Christmas!  Their Lab had 10 pups and it got me to thinking how important it is that we all take the time, energy and ingenuity to adopt a loyal family pet.  A great way to add to your home is to visit your local shelter where tons of cats/dogs need good homes.

How can anyone resist? Rescue dogs are not only cute but are really great pets! With people being unable to take care of/keep their pets there is an influx of dogs to local shelters. If you have the heart and time to take one in, go for it!!

We have four rescued dogs ourselves and every week I blog about a local shelter dog up for adoption. Needless to say, I'm pretty passionate about this cause so I thank you for taking the time to blog about it yourself. Everyone should have a dog and shelter dogs are a great way to go.
