Very cool John. Someday I need to make a trip to your part of the country.
John, the southwest version of Franklin TN. I love it. You share such wonderful information about Albuquerque.
These are great pictures, John! I love shopping with the New Mexico artisans - their jewelry is so pretty, especially the silver and turquoise. Great local color post!
Hi John, These are beautiful pictures. I'm fascinated!
Coral is one of my wife's favorites as well, she has a drop dead gorgeous piece with rough cut coral. Really pretty! Thanks for sharing and commenting Toni!
Peace to you as well David. Turquoise and silver stand out nicely on any lucky lady or guy!
Hi Steve and Jan, Thank you kindly, this truly is the essence of Old Town, now if I could capture the aroma of fantastic Mexican food cooking in the restaurant just behind these artisans. Oh Man im getting hungry again!
Its really is a pleasure to showcase our great city Alexandra and I so glad you enjoy the photos and blog. You know what it's all about so a kudos from you is really appreciated!
Yes indeed Kathy you must plan that trip to the "Q" I think you would enjoy the adventure.
Hi John, The small markets are a lot more interesting than the big name brands, the people really want to interact and appreciate your business. Thanks for sharing today!
Hello Michael, That's cool that you have been here and know the feel of old town. They do put out some pretty jewelry!
Hi Belinda, Nahh, I wouldn't tease you! You just need to come on down to the Q and look around. I bet you could find something you fancy. As far as that vacation is concerned..uh didn't you just get back from one?
That is what makes being a local or a tourist fun here, the artisans do interact and create some nice work Rebecca.
Hi Jeanean, Thank for the pat on the ole back! Love sharing the photos and love being featured, it is a handful but no complaints. Send the love!
Hi Roger, Ahh I did good then! Now you need to come on out and for the real deal. Thanks you good sir!
It really is fun Debbie if you have a pocket full of ca$h!
We would love to have you Jim, come on out in the summer or early fall !
Tammie, I think I would really enjoy Franklin then. Just returned from a trip to NE Alabama. So many trees, the Tennessee river and lakes galore. Bass fisherman heaven!
Turquoise and Silver were certainly meant to meld together and these artist really know how to do just that. Rose, obviously you have good taste my friend.
Hi Linda, I should share some close ups of some of the jewelry made here talk about facinated..Bring your big Credit Card. ;>)
Hi John, Albuquerque is definitely a place I want to visit. I have been to a couple Indian Pow Wows and have purchased a number of items over the years. I used to do a lot of country western dancing and one of favorites was a tooled silver hat band for my Stetson. So I really appreciate some of the many treasures in your community.
Some of my favorite pieces are Native American made that I've gotten at roadside stands. I know what you are talking about. I just wanted to check in and see what's new with you. Have a great evening.
John, finding handmade unique jewelry is the best! You have unique pieces no one else has, and love these finds!
Hi Bill, I used to do a little boot scootn in my day as well and had a really nice Black Stetson. Good fun but its been a long time, my feet hate boots..LOL Hope you get the chance to come visit the Q and take a stroll through old town.
Hi Debbie, My wife have her favorite pieces as well and the southwest jewelry is her preference normally, I just love seeing artistry of melding stone and metal. Good stuff!
Joan, The real deal certainly has more allure and more enjoyable to own. Each piece with a history!
Dolores would love to check out the hand crafted jewelry. It could be an expensive adventure for me.

Hi Roy, You would be suprised just how reasonable it really is. Even some large pieces are within budget for most.
Wow, that is stunning! It is amazing what some people can make with the gifts God has given us on his earth.
John, I would go in debt if I was around that jewelry all the time. Because its so reasonable I would buy more. I have been through there once but never went there to visit.
John, They make some gorgeous jewelry too! Have a great Monday!
John,
Very colorful jewelry - and plenty of it. Nice shots. Hope the sales were good. :)
Steve

Steve - I am grateful for the honor of being Featured in Majestic Mondays! How cool is that!!! I must admit when I took the shot I was thinking this is great. The photos show exactly what goes on in Albuquerque's Old Town and in the making of unique Native American jewelry.
John:
No fair. I am already lusting after all the gorgeous turquoise jewelry from your last post, now more for me to want.
