Question: How Are You Getting Ready?

Short and productive...

My question today goes to everyone in the real estate business, other businesses and avenues of life.

Today in New-England, we are experiencing a cold start. I personally learned it first hand when I showed up at my Cross-Fit class for 7AM and was told that the work-out of the day was to be perform O-U-T-S-I-D-E! No wonder I was the only one who showed up!

Now, I am back behind this wonderful laptop of mine with my wood-stove burning, keeping my dog and I warm and toasty. I am waiting for a few phone calls from other agents and client... so I was wondering...

With the severe snow storm on the West Coast, the cold snap in the Nor-East, the roller coaster temperature in Florida...

What do you do to keep your productivity going? In real estate, people are getting ready for the spring market. What are you doing TODAY to get ready? As a seller? A buyer? An agent? A planner?

Tell me. I am curious to know... and since I am waiting ; )

Hi Lydie, I'm impressed that you even go to Crossfit - from what I understand from my daughter, it's a pretty rigorous program - good for you! I'm looking forward to how others are getting ready for the spring season. Personally, I think I could use a more structured plan which I need to work on as I think this spring is going to be really busy.

Hi Lydie....I'm doing what I always do every day....I market.... and then I market more... today I've done eight open house blog posts for the weekend....and I've written one narrative on AR....that was fun...that's what I like doing best....I'm also working from home today..... it's a break from my appointments with agents in our firm to teach them how to use realbird....do you use realbird yet? if not, you should look into it to market your listings.... I'll be happy to show you how to use it.

Hi Lydie... I got back to blogging and I am working with a friend of mine who is under 30... she's helping me as we put together a social media marketing campaign. I also don't currently get a lot of referrals from realtors, so 2012 is my year to change that!
