Every time I turn on the evening news I am reminded how lucky I am to be living in this wonderful place. I wake up every morning to clean air and beautiful surroundings. My morning commute takes me 10 traffic free minutes. My town has a population of around 6000 people, just right. No earthquakes, fires, riots, hurricanes or tournados. Changing seasons keep it interesting and even more beautiful.
I have clients from all over the US and they all love this place. Some move here immediately, some have vacation homes here and some have purchased land or homes for the day they will move her for good.
I suppose if you were born and raised in the big city you are happy no place else. If you are stuck in traffic for an hour each day that's just the way things are.
As for me, small town life fits me just fine.
