ANADARKO PETROLEUM, THE WOODLANDS, TX ~ BUILDING 2ND TOWER
announced plans to construct a 31-story office building next to its existing headquartershere in The Woodlands. The company is experiencing positive growth resulting in the need for additional space.
Currently Anadarko's home in The Woodlands is 30-stories tall and has a total of 818,000 square feet of office space. Because of their explosive growth, they also lease nearby office space in The Woodlands. When the new tower which is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2014, they will move out of this additional space and into their new tower.
Anadarko has more than 4,700 employees worldwide. Out of those impressive numbers, approximately 2,200-2,300 of these people work in The Woodlands. Obviously with the addition of the new building, additional jobs are expected.
