Friday Foto - Winter Sunset in Florida like Fire in the Sky

Winter sunsets in Florida are full of surprises and often the best of the show happens after the sun has disappeared on the horizon.

This was not any different tonight in Hernando Beach, Florida. I got to my favorite sunset watching location just in time to witness the sky turn into fiery orange colors. Not at all like Rocky Mountain high... yes, the John Denver song popped into my mind.. I've seen the fire in the sky!

Winter sunsets in Florida... they can be like fire in the sky!

Michael, thanks, glad you enjoyed it.

Endre, you know, I don't even know for sure. It was warm enough for the snow birds to walk around in shorts, the rest of us just thought it was very comfortable, probably somewhere around 70 F give or take a couple degrees.

Marilyn, it's John Denver... it actually is "Colorado Mountain High... I've seen it raining fire in the sky..." he was singing about meteor showers in the mountains.
