Are You Missing Out on Marketing Features for Selling Your Johnson County Kansas Home?

The National Association of Realtors recently released its Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers for 2011.  This is a very informative report of the demographics, experiences and preferences of recent  home buyers and sellers.  And, I use this information to help provide information to assist my Northeast Johnson County Kansas home sellers to become more educated on what prospective buyers are comprised of on average along with what their looking for in their new home.  

The Profile indicated that 67% of home buyers indicated that the biggest influence in their neighborhood choice of where to purchase was "quality of neighborhood."  So what does this mean to you if your are selling or considering selling your home in Johnson County Kansas?  It means that what your neighborhood has to offer greatly influences the decision of a buyer to not only purchase your home, but to view your home to begin with.

It is critical to emphasize a number of features of our Johnson County KS neighborhoods when selling your home which I will be posting about over the days to come.  The first being to emphasize the schools for your area.

My experience is that not just buyers with children are particularly interested in the schools, but also buyers without children are many times just as interested in the quality of schools for the area they are considering because of future resale.  We know that the schools in Johnson County Kansas including the schools where I specialize in Northeast Johnson County Kansas, Shawnee Mission Schools, are rated some of the top in the nation.  What a huge "quality of neighborhood" to emphasize and market even if you have the ugliest home on the block.
