Red Auerbach is one of the greatest coaches and general managers in the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) history.
In his 16 years of coaching the Boston Celtics his teams won a total of 885 game, 10 conference titles and won 9 NBA championships.
Red’s philosophy was right to the core of his team’s success do what you do best and be prepared to do it with excellences.
The Celtics under Red’s stewardship had many talented players but hallmark of the team success was they were a blue collar type of team. The Celtics came to work to beat you and win. His teams played hard and they played the game of basketball with excellence.
As a business professional we have to come to work every day with the mindset that we are there to succeed and to win our day.
The Boston Celtics extended themselves and put their game on the court and everyone to see and they did it with excellences.
We have to bring our best game to our business everyday and do it with excellences.
The Boston Celtics were World Champions because of their hard work, preparation and playing the game of basketball with excellences.
