John, where is Pope Valley and why are the prices so low?  Two Single Family Res under $100,000?  Sounds like a steal.

Hi Lloyd - Pope Valley is in the sticks, on the northwest shore of Lake Berryessa.  Rugged terrain without a lot of grape growing capacity, so home/land values are relatively low compared to the rest of the Valley.  I was out there last Saturday, most of the homes could be described as "hillbilly chic" - weekend cabins without a lot of amenities.  There are some beautiful homes in the area, but those are usually on large parcels that can't be seen from the road.

To get there, from dowtown St. Helena head north and quickly turn right on to Deer Park Road.  Deer Park snakes northeast through the hills, first to Angwin and then eventually to Pope Valley.
