Howdy, I just discovered a new website that probably most of the students have already found, but just in case you haven't found it, I'll share it with you.

It's the Northgate District Association website  at http://www.northgatetx.com/

It looks like it's still under construction or needs updating on the events page, but check out the other pages that include these categories and you will find out a lot about Northgate:

  • Entertainment - THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE, of course
  • Shops - something we all need from time to time
  • Food and Drinks - MY #1 CHOICE - very important part of Northgate
  • Worship - gives all the places of worship in the Northgate District
  • Student Interests - businesses of importance to Aggies
  • History of the Northgate District
  • Links - some may be of interest to you
  • Directory - where to find phone numbers of places in the Northgate District
  • Map - shows the boundaries of the Northgate District.

Check this website out and let me know what you think?  Which is your favorite place to go for entertainment and for food!

I welcome comments about where you like to go at Northgate  ~~

Hi Trey,  When I was in grad school at Texas A&M, I learned a lot.....I learned how to do research...and that is how I found it.  Enjoy.

Aggie thank you for sharing this site. I am sure it will be up and running at the the max soon. It is a lot of work collecting all the data.

Dionne, Yes it is a lot of work to collect data and set up a new website. I'm trying to set up a website for my hobby and I just can't get it right.  I hate to read instructions....

When I was a child, I lived near Northgate.  College Station does not have a downtown....only Northgate.  I remember going to the bookstores to look around. It was just about the only kind of shops then besides the barber shop, the shoe repair shop.  I only remember those.  I don't remember them having any eating places but I was just a child.  The old theatre was there.  We'd go to the movies every week.
