Toni, this is great of you to promote this book sale.  I'll send a link to my mother in Port Charlotte.  She'll probably visit my brothers in St Pete and then go to the book sale and maybe get a great Greek Salad too.

It is too bad that the library is making people sign up for Facebook though if all they want to do is see their events.  Lots of people have zero interest in participating on Facebook...my mother included.  Maybe they could use a multi-tiered approach to marketing this book sale and include the promotional particulars on their own website too.  Thanks for the information though, I know my family will be glad to come support any library.

Mona - you have to sign up for Facebook if you want to see anything on it. The libraries don't have that rule-Facebook does. If you're Mom is going to the Sponge Docks; she might want to try Rusty Bellies.

Toni - I love books and even though there's Kindle along with many other  online reading, there's something about holding a book, turning the pages, feeling the book jacket. I will continue to head to the library and book store for my books! I'm sure you'll see many people at the Centennial Park Library book sale - there are still a lot of us who love a good book!
