Active Rainers Parties up a storm!

The "Crib" was awesome but meeting all the Active Rain members and the Rain Dudes themselves was absolutely incredible!

I took 58 pictures at the party...some of them totally hysterical!

Some of us recognized each other right away and others we had to play a guessing game.

The suite itself was very much a playboy suite with a stripper pole bar in the shower, floor to ceiling widows windows over looking the city, a huge moving master bed<gg> and I think at least 7 flat screen TV's.

We couldn't expect anything less as the Palms is a Playboy hotel.

We all poked around the suite laughing...it was a total blast!

Our Hosts...Matt, Jonathan and Bob were all wonderful and it was exciting meeting them!

What a fun party! I would love to meet some Active Rainers in person. There are so many who are so good at blogging and I know they would be interesting in real life as well.

A stripper pole ??? Gosh I recognized most of them, what does that say about me?? Too much time in the rain.

What fun! I do know that Rainers can party - and talk. We can talk hour after hour after hour... Sorry I wasn't there to see old friends and make new ones.

Monika is on her way to the airport and will post more tomorrow. She gets home around 12:30 AM Friday. I need a nap before I go pick her up. LOL

It certainly was fun to meet some of the rainers in person there. Some you could identify quickly by the picture here, and others not so. And meeting Jonathan and Matt was inspiring. Missed that stripper pole, though.

Nice pics, Monika! It was great meeting so many Rainers in person. I left at about 12:30 AM and they were just ordering a boatload of appetizers. The stripper pole is a common upgrade in many Las Vegas homes. We adjust our CMAs accordingly. :)

Sorry we missed it we did think about coming down to the PALM. We had a long day and finished up at about 10 and decided the 7:00 am tour we were going to need our attention to sleep. So next year at NAR I will attend. Thanks for the party what a great idea.

I am off to the airport to pickup my lovely wife. I am sure she is exhausted. She will comment and upload more pics later today.

Shucks! Bad time management meant I had to get on the road to Yuma to teach yesterday and I missed it!!!(Probably won't have been good to come to the party before driving 5 hours!)

To all ...we had a great time! Next year the convention will be in Orlando and if there is an AR get together try and do it. It was so nice to meet everyone and the party the AR Dudes threw for us was just the greatest!

I'm beat, I got home at 2 a.m. last night!

Monika,sounds like carnac will have plenty to say this time around! Having never been in a place like the "crib" it's hard to imagine so we all appreciate the photos that are shared. Sounds like everyone had a rip roaring time.

It is the next best thing to being there! Thanks for the pictures -- I think the pole in the bathroom is a hoot! Have a safe trip back -- snow flurries here in Nashua today! There certainly is a chill in the air!

That is great! I wish we could have made it. I had WAY too many before it was time to go to the Palms. We had a real good time at the Prudential Party!

Jennifer...I had planned to go to the prudential party but when the AR party turned out to be the same night...AR won out.
