Wow, you are a part time agent?

Part time agentsLast month my team closed a transaction with a buyer’s agent that was one of the easiest closes we have ever had. They answered every emailand took every one of my calls and got things to me promptly, everything you want to happen when doing a short sale.

Well, now that the transaction is done, I wanted to call this agent and thank them for their hard work. She then told me she was a part time agent and I was floored! I thought for sure she was full time andhad been in the business 20 years! (Her clients were lucky to have her)

I wish more full time agents took their business as serious as this part time agent did. She was someone I wanted working for me here on The Friendly Home Team. She was an agent that I knew wasn’t going to be part time for long and I want to help her become full time because we need more agents like her in the business.

Atthis time she isn’t making the switch, but I can tell you that I’m going to keep working on getting her to my team because this is the type of person I want working for us!

Todd - It's always good to hear a story of how professional and great another real estate professional was regardless of their agent status - full time verses part-time!

I use productive and non-productive to describe agents based on their results rather than part time and full time. Sounds like this agent was a productive one.

Part time or full time ... isn't it alway a pleasure to work with a true professional!

Isn't it great to find a gem? I wish you good luck in getting her to move her license.

What a nice surprise. All the part timers I know, do a full time job of making our profession look bad.

Todd - Nice to see a good story!  It's great to have a smooth transaction with each side having a good agent.  I'm sure you'll be able to recruit her to your firm!

Todd, it all depends on the person, doesn't it?  Some full time agents should probably be retired ;)
