How To Be A Great Admin Assistant

By
Services for Real Estate Pros

I had a great conference call through my work on Tuesday.  It was "How to Be A Great Administrative Assistant".  Although, most of it was stuff I am already doing it was nice to have a refresher!  She did recommend a new book for me to read.  I will probably pick it up this weekend and start reading it.  Its called Time Traps, and as an assistant, time management is the most important thing I have to do.  If any of you have read this book, let me know what you think of it.  I like hearing other peoples perspectives before I read something.  If you are an assistant or are thinking of hiring one this call could be really great for you to hear.  For Keller Williams agents you might be able to hear it through MAPS website.  I encourage you to look for these calls.

The thing I liked most about the call was the high energy of our "host" and being reminded what my actual job description is.  In one quick list:

Managing Agent(s)

Customer Service

Manage Listings

Implementing/ Tweaking Systems

As an assistant, we are supposed to leverage our agents.  I didn't realize that until I read The Millionaire Real Estate Agent.  So I had been walking blind in a sense.

Look for the call, all you KW assistants and KW agents.  It will really help your business.

If you have other books or resources on "How To Be A Great Administrative Assistant"  please let me know.  I am always looking for ways to grow and improve!

Matt Ratcliffe, REALTOR

as you can see from her post she does know a thing or two.  Go Amber!
