In the summer the old marineland site started breaking ground for a spectacular golf resort by Lowe Enterprises. We are going to be living near the most spectacular Hotel,Spa and Whole-ownership Villas, Casitas,Hotel and GOlf Academy on the West Coast.
This Terranea Hotel,Spa and Golf Academy will rival the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel for a comparable luxury resort which will now be in our own back yard. Lowes has 5 other developments in the Untied States that have been wonderfully successful. This project has been in the works for over 8 years and will soon have the approval on the Coastal Committee and will be available to purchase soon.
The Terranea Developers will be unveiling their architectural renderings soon and have been delighted to keep the historical architecture and history of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Theme throughout the Resort.
The resort will boast of five star Hotel Spa, 3 restaurants, one restaurant in the hotel, one gourmet fine dining restaurant and one fantastic restaurant and bar with entertainment that will be built on the Ocean Cliffs with a breathtaking view of the Coast and the Lighthouse. THe 120 acre resort will also have facilities for business meetings, weddings,catering and banquet sites all available for the public and private members of the Terranea Resort.
My partner, Brian Byhower and I were fortunate to be the first to tour the Terranea Sight and the beauty of the Ocean and 120 Acre Project was breathtakingly beautiful. I was especially impressed with how fantastically deep blue and clear the Pacific Ocean water is around the resort. Having always driven by Palos Verdes Drive, I never had the chance to see close up the natural beauty of the Coastline. Terranea being so deep out on the peninsula the water is so clean compared to our local beaches.
I was especially impressed with the beach trail that will be open to the public courtesy of Terranea and will host a snack shack half way on the trail.
The nine hole golf course will also be staffed with professional golf instructors for the Terranea members. Trump Golf course will also be available to Terranea members and will include a shuttle for the Terranea members to commute back and forth to both Golf Courses.
The Villas with a seperate courtyard and private spa will be starting in the low 2 million to 3 million range. Then the smaller square feet will become available, Casitas next and so on down to the Hotel Rooms.
