The kids are grown and on their own, or maybe you didn't choose to HAVE kids, having focused your attention on your career, hobbies and travels. Yeah...and that pic is just the view from my Medford home office!  I'll put the view from my office up next good snow  we get, or when Spring rolls around. Eugene is nice, too...you rate a Trader Joe's, so you must be special :->.

Karen - I grew up in Klamath, went to college in Ashland and both of my parents grew up in Central Point. The Rogue Valley is part of my Roots. While I live in Northern Oregon. Southern Oregon will always be home.

Yes. I rember going to my great grandmothers to pick blackberries and play with her chicks. She was about 4 blocks east of the river and it was still pretty much country. I remember when Central Point WAS country... My grandfather came when there was still only dirt roads...

Hi Karen ~  I always love it when Oregon gets recognition.  I do not care necessarily about the city or region even.  I do like Medford, though, and it has some great high school memories.  Being a native Oregonian, I attended Centennial High School and we did a choir tour, stopping there and hanging out some.  Also my uncle lives in Eagle Point, not too far from there!

Hi Sarah- No...Eagle Point isn't far from Medford at all. It is the fastest growing city in our area, though, so if you haven't visited your uncle recently, it may look a lot different!  Our daughter is in chorus. Maybe one day we'll end up touring your neck of the woods!
