Five Types of Real Estate Investors - The First-Time Investor
Did you know that there are five types of real estate investors? When talking about residential real estate, there are five types of real estate investors. This week, we will be taking a look at these five types of real estate investors and learning a little bit about each type.
The first type of real estate investor, The First-Time Investor, is simply as the name implies. The First-Time Investor is an investor buying a home for investment purposes for the first time. While I recommend that any and all investors purchasing real estate for investment purposes have a plan, having a plan is especially important for the first-time investor. It is recommended that a first-time investor work with a Real Estate Investment Specialist to develop this plan.
When we sit down to discuss your plan, some of the factors we will talk about include your purpose for investing in real estate, some of the "mistakes" to avoid, and your tolerance for being a landlord.
