Toni - very pretty! I'm in the process of doing my yard, and want to focus on native plants that will increase butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds to my yard...

Toni,

That's the most unusual coloring on a Pansy I've ever seen. Boutique flowers...I love it.

Toni: They really do look like butterflies.  I wish I had a green thumb...I have such a terrible time keeping annuals alive.

Those are really neat looking! Pansies never look that good at my house...gets too hot too fast and I'm too cheap to water all the time. :-)

Toni, this would be a great day to plant these beautiful pansies!    Having year-round colorful flowers would be nice, but would miss the "seasons"!

Hi Toni, I don't know why but I've always called them Johnny-Jump Ups, they are only an annual here...it's so nice to see flowers in January!  Thanks Toni!

Hi Toni, These are my favorite variety of pansies.  Like John mentioned in #16 I also know them as Johnny Jump Ups.  I wish I could have year round outdoor flowers like you.  And yes they do look like butterflies.

Have fun!

Gloria

Several of you mentioned Johnny Jump-Ups and I remember hearing that name from years ago.

Yesterday was a busy day so I will catch up with all of you later today. Thank you all for your wonderful and fun comments.

Toni--These pansies are gorgeous.  I envy you being able to plant them now.  Enjoy them for all us who live north of the Mason-Dixon line.  No snow, but it is too cold for flowers just yet.  Not even the snow drops, our first flowers, have popped up.
