Active Rain Community:

Did you know that our very own Active Rainer Margaret Rome gave us all a "plug" on the radio show that she hosted today in Maryland?  She even notified us about her Radio Show with her blog and ran a contest for us all to get involved in.  Her blog: http://activerain.com/blogsview/27199/Another-Contest-Live-Radio

microphoneI know her blog came out late and it hit the holiday weekend but I know that I myself and Jeff Belonger were listeners on the show.  I do have to add that it was a great show.  Both Margaret and Jeff B (caller on the show) did great, both are naturals with great voices.

So you don't know who Margaret Rome is?  She is one classy woman who at the same time is a very professional real estate agent/broker in Maryland.  She was the first Active Rain member that called me out of the blue to introduce herself to me and give me props on one of my blogs.  She definitely made an impression on me immediately months ago and again today with her radio show. 

I wanted to be one of the many who will be congratulating her on the radio show plug that she gave us all.  This will bring more traffic to Active Rain and it will increase the membership here on Active Rain.  This means more brains to pick from and more Real Estate networking, partnerships, business relationships, blogs and more!

You have chosen five very unique people , Bryant, Nima, Bonnie, Sharon and Karen Villa Scheinfurth. Each of you share my core values. You give and share and make a real difference to those around you. I am proud to add you Karen to this list of unique people. If it were not so late, I would call you to tell you how much I admire you!!

Keep adding thumbs, this is great!  I also just read Karen's blog, what a nice blog.  I did miss it and I apologized to her.  She also mentioned me in it and I felt bad for missing it.  So many blogs in a day now that it is very easy to miss a good blog.

Tony:  Maybe she can do it next time she is on the air.  Great ideas!  I just might buy some radio ads during her show now!  I wonder how much it costs? Hmmm..

*NOTE: For those of you that will be on active rain today, check out the humor or funny blog I shared today about how one of my friends saw this zambonee at an intermission of a Hartford Wolfpack minor league hockey game in Hartford, Connecticut at the Hartford Civic Center.  Funny!  He called him my evil twin!  They are making fun of me and saying that he looks like me.

Margaret:  I believe that just gets you to Active Rain, but if someone signs up, not sure if you get credit for it.  But I could be wrong.

You are right. Maybe I need to ask the Rain gods if there is an easier way to do this. I would not feel comfortable giving the entire link on the radio, phone etc. It sounds like they are doing it for me to receive points. I want them to sign up because it is so good for business, they learn so much and it is fun; even if it is addicting.
