Can’t type on an ipad or tablet? Try writing with one finger. It’s Penultimate.
Going from a keyboard to a picture of a keyboard on a tablet can be real challenging if you have to take notes quickly.
In a conference or seminar, sometimes it’s necessary to draw something.
Here’s your answer: Penultimate. At only 99 cents, it's a great deal!
The application is described as
** The original, powerful, still easiest-to-use handwriting app for iPad. On sale. **
Penultimate gives you the fast, tactile gratification of writing on paper, with digital power and flexibility. Take notes, keep sketches, or share your next breakthrough idea -- in the office, on the go, or home on the sofa.”

And here are a couple of screenshots on how you can use it.
Once you download (iremember, t's only 99 cents --- Such a deal!), they have a really cool tutorial to guide you on how to use it. You can even have booklets of notes depending on the topic, occasion, etc. I find that writing with my finger is so much easier and faster than attempting to type. Certainly better than a stylus!
Another cool feature is that you can email your notes!
