The Quiet Zone Project has Been Delayed

The so longed for completion of the Quiet Zone Project in Downtown San Diego is not going to be finished as planned. The CCDC (Centre City Development Corporation) announced that the project will take longer due to difficulties related to transitioning to new train signaling, timing and safety systems.

The Quiet Zone Project was supposed to be completed in March 2012 and many Downtown San Diego Condo home owners in nearby complexes such as Bayside, The Grande, Breeza, Treo and Electra are concerned about the delay as the new completion is set for late Spring 2012.
