Vermont Poet Laureate will be speaking in the Village of Windsor Vermont which is the Birthplace of Vermont, come out to enjoy a discussion by a local Vermont Poet.

On this evening of Wednesday the 25th of January 2012, newly-minted Vermont Poet Laureate Sydney Lea will be at the Windsor Public Library, which located at 43 State Street in Windsor, Vermont. This here program will begin at 6:30 P.M. this evening. Mr. Lea will be discussing his writing career, which has span four Decades, which includes collections of criticism, nature writing. Mr. Lea has also written many volumes of poetry, his most recent collection is Six Sundays Toward a Seventh, Selected Spiritual Poems. There will be refreshments for the folks attending the program.

Vermont Poet Laureate will be speaking in the Village of Windsor Vermont which is the Birthplace of Vermont, Mr. Sydney Lea lives in Newbury, Vermont, and has been a Vermont resident since the early 1990s.  He is the prolific author of a number of collections of poetry, including Young of the Year (Four Way Books, 2011); Ghost Pain (Sarabande Books, 2005); Pursuit of a Wound (University of Illinois Press, 2000); To the Bone: New and Selected Poems (University of Illinois Press, 1996); Prayer for the Little City (Scribner’s, 1989); No Sign (University of Georgia Press, 1987); The Floating Candles (University of Illinois Press, 1982), and Searching the Drowned Man (University of Illinois Press, 1980).
