I arrived home very late last night or maybe I should say early this morning since it was 2 a.m. when I finally walked in my house. My mind was spinning and I kept poor Jay up for hours talking up a storm.

My last day at the convention was awesome.

I walked through the trade show one one more time and wanted to stop and chat some more with Jennifer Allan but her booth was mobbed, so instead I looked at some jewelry ...always popular booths with me.

This year there were 4 booths devoted to jewelry of all kinds and I must say these booths are always packed. Don't ask if I bought anything...LOL!

At noontime I went over to the Incredible Agent booth to hear Kristal Kraft talk about Blogging.

Kristal did a great job and had a group of well known bloggers in the audience including Dustin Luther of Rain city guide, David Gibbons of Zillow and Project blogger Jackie Colson -Miller.

We ended up putting our chairs in a circle and had a round table like discussion. It was just awesome

Also joining us was Roberta Murphy and Maribeth Messineo Peters  It seemed like everyone present was an Active Rain member.

Kristal had some great questions from a few blogger wannabes and the hour just flew by.

For me the trip ended and I sadly had to say my goodbyes.

What a great experience it was. I've attended many NAR conventions but I must say this one was extra special... thanks to all the wonderful Active Rain members I got to meet and hang out with!

Linda...We'll definitely be in Orlando for the convention and hopefully there will  be an  AR gathering.

I think we'll drive down in the motorhome.  Not sure though.

Moni - The trade show looked like it was fabulous. You'll have to show me the goodies you got. I want to plan for Orlando next year.

Looks like it was fun.  I'll have to start paying more attention to these events in the future since they have a tendency to sneak up on me.

Monika,

Sounds like the NAR convention was a huge success.  Couldn't make it there this year.  I'm sure there will be a couple of blog posts on what you learned.

I have only one regret.  I cut the trip a day short and wished I would have attended today also.  I really was happy to meet so many Active Rainers at both the gathering and the Expo.

Monika,

I am glad you had a wonderful time.  Wished I could have been there for Kristal session.

Rick and Ines really do a great job with their blog which I read regularly.  On the same page of the magazine you highlighted was a mention of another activerrain member, Thesa Chamber she also does a terrific job.

Next year the convention will be in Orlando Joan.

Jennifer...I edited the post to reflect that. Kristal's session was awesome and I loved meeting everyone there.

Randy...I only went for 3 days...usually I'm there for the whole week.

Harold...Thanks I am working on some.

Ann...Who would have known that the convention would be so blog heavy <gg>

Dan...Many times the convention is loaded with education...all included in the conference price.

Judy...Reserve the dates for next year.

It sounds like everyone from AR had a great time!  And it sounds like AR members and friends were leading or participating in a lot of the best groups.  I feel so fortunate to be a small part of AR.

Moni ~ It was so great to finally get to meet you.  I had a terrific time and it's now even better to read your reports on NAR.  That means I don't have to blog!

I hope we get to do this again next year, if  not sooner.
