25 Comments on I've been WHAT? Memed - yes memed
Ines, I love your entrepreneurship at 11 years old! And am in awe of you loving Math; I'm with TLW on this one, although I don't even enjoy shopping Math.
The melting pot aspect of the U.S. is what I am most proud of and hope will continue forever, without too many new Government regulations. Thanks for sharing and helping me get to know you better.
Ines...man 14 hours of puking ...good grief! Aside from that how did you like your boat trip?? Jay and I bare boated on our honeymoon 10 days of bliss!!!
Enjoyed reading your meme!!!
I wrote a great response to every single one of you and **POOF**** It's gone.....so here I go again: (and somehow I know the second one won't be as good) I HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS!
Chris - are you sure you're head is OK?
Ann - thanks for tagging me - what great fun! Now I have to go read memes - there are pretty cool things about people in the rain.
TLW - you always take the time to write the best comments - your comments end up being better than the post - you ROCK! As for the grand daughters, I hope you are right - I can't wait to braid some girly hair!...and you don't want to see my knees.
Jeff - I have to expand on the puking incident and you'll get a kick out of it. The captain decided to do the "Windward Passage" at night and we had 15 foot seas - I started vomiting withing an hour of taking off. Rick never vomits, he has been on boats since he was born and NEVER gets sea sick. When I started getting sick he came up to me to see if he could make me feel better and my face was GREEN - needles to say, he started puking as well - we were taking turns with the toilet and he pops his head up to look at me in between episodes and says, "THIS IS SOOO ROMANTIC!" - I still crack up when I remember.
Mariana - I think you and I could do some real damage! with or without our kids.
Carole - Are you kidding me? there is nothing more fun than Shopping Math.
Monika - I rode on the bridge from port to port - but the trip was INCREDIBLE. Island hopping was the best!
Ines,
Only two languages, gee....
Kickboxing, now that sounds like fun, must get all your agressions out and make you feel strong. I like that.
You will get your little girl (as a grandchild). That is my prediction for you:) It may seem like a long time from now, but it passes very quickly.
Hi Ines and Rick.. here are some mentals pictures that are now ingrained in my memmory cells... Ines spazzing out with arms flailing because of a roach, while the kids duck and take cover to dodge this kickboxing arms and legs. look out!
the boat trip sounds exciting, i've wanted to do the same thing in search for waves.. sounds silly, but dont knock it until you've tried it. the barfing detail comes with the ride, but now the image of Rick hovering over the commode saying "Isn't this romantic is too funny".. also reminds me of that movie where the kid enters a pie eating and drink some funky oil to barf on purpose while eating the pie, then everyone barfs, even the people in the audience. que romantico!! (how romantic!)
so while you were subjected to child labor, you actually flipped it into illegal hiring of undocumented workers and avoid paying quarterly IRS taxes on their wages.. we'll let this one go to avoid a kick to the head. no wonder you cant low down. its like a dog after it bites someone and gets the taste of blood.. there is no turning back!
in case your not familiar.. and maybe the kids are too young, but deerfield has a water park with cable skiiing.. very cool. let me know if you want more info..
see you... this is turning into a post and not a comment.! -me
Nima - I really feel for you - the way I describe it to people is like a 14 hour roller coaster! You can't make it stop. I'm sure you'll get over it, I did. I just know not to eat anything before a long boat ride.
Marti - I was the official math tutor in college for all my friends. My calculus teacher kicked me out of his class (signed a slip releasing me from taking it) after 1 month because I kept correcting his mistakes. :)
Karen - you are so sweet - now I have 2 people rooting for my little girl (as a grandchild) - maybe the right energy will align.
Nick - you are so funny! I have surfed, so I'm to knocking it - it was the surfing etiquette that blew my mind! You're analogy of the taste of blood is right on. Thanks for the e-mail - I was looking forward to your response.
P.S.
In case you're wondering, I'm catching up on all the memes! I was just meme'd this morning!!
Amber- when we were all originally memmed back in December, we had so much fun but it was so difficult to keep up. It's great that a group has been created for all those people that didn't get a chance to participate - let me know when your meme is up!
I am sory that I tagged you....when I looked at the list I didn't find you...
Ines
