What's your best resource for answers?

Write out your most pressing question or dilemma on a sheet of paper as if you were preparing for a chance to consult with an all-knowing advisor. Then sit down and present the well-written question to yourself. That's right, ask yourself. Within you, you have the resources and experience to provide the best solution. Trust yourself. Trust your intuition, trust your gut reaction. You know the answer.

You must believe in yourself.

You must believe you are capable. (Keep reading.)

You must believe you have the right stuff to accomplish what you would like to do.

You must have a deep-seated belief that you have what it takes to be very successful.  (Really, keep reading!)

Believing in yourself is an attitude -- it's a choice.

It is something you develop.

If you were born to perfect parents, then they probably nurtured, coached, and role modeled positive support for your development and your belief in yourself since your birth.

However most of us had parents who shared with us the shortcomings of their own upbringing, including their limiting beliefs and negative conditioning. It is up to us to develop our belief in ourselves.

Believe you can do anything you set your mind to -- because you can.

Brain research has proven that with enough conditioning, training, practice, and self belief anyone can learn to do almost anything!

Many successful people readily admit they were not at the top of their class. They were not gifted, or as talented as others in their chosen field. However they say they completly believed they could succeed, and they worked, studied, practiced, and prepared longer and harder to develop themselves. That's what makes them successful. Whether you believe you can, or you believe you can't, you are right!

Brain research also has shown us that the brain is a goal-seeking organism. Give yourself a goal (dream big) and keep that goal in the forefront of your mind morning, noon, and night, using visuals to help you "see" the desired outcome. Don't quit. Keep the visuals where you can see them every day, morning, noon, and night until the goal is attained. Your brain will move the attainment of the goal to the subconscious. The subconscious mind understands pictures and visual images best. The subconcious mind wants to close the gap for you between reality and what you expect (expectancy theory). The subconscious mind will work 24/7 on the attainment of the goal to close the gap.

You need to give up the words "I can't." These words and similar language actually disempower you. This negative language actually makes you weaker. Negative words actually affect physical strength in your body. Stop negativity!

Belief in yourself is more important than knowledge, training or schooling. 20% of America's millionaires never set foot in college. You can start from anywhere and create success. Follow your heart. Do what you think you were born to do and believe that the world is conspiring to help you do good. Every difficult or challenging event is opportunity. See it for what it could be -- something that could enrich you.

There. Doesn't that help?
