HELLO EVERYONE:
On behalf of all of the folks in Prescott Valley and the wonderful staff of the Fain Signature Group Family and the wonderful staff that work here, Happy Thanksgiving: Many years ago my family had the pleasure of living and working in Williams, Arizona. One of my jobs while up in this beautiful little community to the north was as a writer and editor for the Williams/Grand Canyon Newspaper. The owner and publisher of the newspaper was a good friend (still is) who truly believes in God, family, country, friends, and community. His name is Doug Wells.
I thank Doug now for allowing me the freedom to write what you are about to read. Doug, as I do, believes there is a lot to be thankful for in living life today. Always has been, always will be.
In this season of Thanksgiving, whoever you are, in whatever state your life might be in....give thanks.
Thanks, Doug, for the freedom of the pen, and for being a friend that understands Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving: A Time for Giving Thanks
Thanksgiving Day once again is here. The sun rise in morning, the rain showers of spring.
We give thanks this time each year. These are two of the simplest things.
We all are so blessed in countless ways. But what if the sun didn't shine, and the rain didn't fall.
Our blessing enumerated would take days. Where would this world be if at all.
The blue skies, the green trees, the flowers that bloom, Thanks is not difficult, it is giving, it is sharing.
The rugged mountains in the background loom, It is showing our loved ones a purpose for caring.
A constant reminder in our daily prayer Let your thanks be heard this thankful day.
That we are in the good Lord's care. Let your blessings be known in all you say.
We have so much, He fills us up. Thanksgiving is but once a year.
With His bountiful overflowing cup. But in my house, let me make it clear.
Is giving thanks so hard to do. We give thanks for every day, we're blessed.
Just one day, or all year through. From the moment we rise, till our head lay to rest.
The simplest blessings we oft take for granted.
Seeds of thankfulness need to be planted.
Have a nice holiday, and remember one thing. Give thanks to God for the blessings He brings.
