Motivational Power Quote
The Difference Between Mediocrity and Genius
“Mediocrity is self-inflicted.
Genius is self-bestowed.”
Walter Russell, 1871 – 1963, author, visionary
As I see it . . . . . . .
The difference between mediocrity and genius
There is a very thin slice that separates the genius from mediocrity.
A genius is a person that sticks with their idea through the obstacles, setbacks and failure until they achieve the desired results.
They know what they want to achieve from the start and they will follow their vision with consistent effort and determination.
A genius is the person that hangs on a little longer with a little more tenacity when everyone is telling them to let go.
A genius keeps trying until they get it right and get it done.
Mediocrity on the other hand is letting go when the water gets rough and not getting back on a horse after they fall off.
The difference between mediocrity and genius is in the person’s attitude to stay with what they believe in until they accomplish it. It a very thin slice of difference but the difference is all the difference in the world.
