Hello fellow Rainer's!! Now I have come up with a great customer relations, marketing and referral tool that is inexpensive and easy to do that I can't image why any Realtor would not be doing it. What is this great wonder you may ask???  This is something that is so simple and inexpensive that some of you may be using some form of this but just by tweaking it a little may offer it to be a tool for all three of these purposes.  If you are not doing this than I am sure you are going to wonder why you haven't thought of this before. 

 This great tool that I am talking about is "we have moved postcards". Now you may be saying to yourself well yeah but please read further. Just by utilizing these great tools to your advantage and to take full advantage of their potential.

Okay let me get right to it:

Customer Relations: This of course is a great customer relations tool if you use it as such. To do so you would need to have these ready for your clients at closing or as part of a closing gift. By customizing these postcards with your clients names and new address and printing 50-100 for them to send to those important contacts in their lives.

 Marketing and Referral Tool: Including your contact information on the postcard this will be sent to each and every person that your clients send these to. It would read something like this:

"If you are looking to buy/sell a home contact our Realtor, you will be glad you did"

Jane Smith, Realtor

Phone, Email, Website

You could also add your company logo or your picture if you would like. This with this statement printed on the cards this gives you the referral and the marketing.

 To make these even easier for your clients to get out in the mail as we know moving is a stressful time, you could have the postcards already stamped and a label added so they could just write in their friends and families information and drop it in the mail.

 A nice way to package these would be to stack the postcards, with postage on them and you could tie them up with some nice ribbon with a pen inserted in the bow. You can also get speciality ribbon made with your company logo on it or even your Name and/or website. There are company's like Bags and Bows that will do this type of printing on the ribbon. Or you could even order some nice small gift bags with your company information or even to take it a step further they also offer tissue paper for the gift bag with your custom printing on it as well.  If you are going to include a pen, you could use a custom printed pen with of course your information on it.

Total cost would include printing of postcards, postage (optional), and ribbon, bags and or bows (optional), pen (optional).

I think that this is a great way to do all three of these key components that you need in your business. On top of that it is simple and inexpensive.  I hope you have found this as useful as I have.
