Sounds of an Albuquerque Mariachi Band
If you're considering the purchase or sale of an Albuquerque, Rio Rancho or Central New Mexico home I would love to speak with you. This is what we do here at Albuquerque Homes Realty and AlbuquerqueHomes.com. Give me, John McCormack a call, text or email. I would love to earn your valued business and exceed your real estate expectations.
Hey John, you are making me miss my home in San Miguel de Allende! We have a couple of very famous mariachi bands there and you always here their music each night-it is a real pleasure.
Q, was there a button I missed on this post. I had to sing along! Have a great weekend.
Looks like fun. Have an outstanding weekend.
We have another beautiful sunny day in Maryland and life is good!
I think I can hear the music - I really am going to have to make it to the Q one of these days. You have made me so aware of its appeal - honestly, I really didn't know that much about it before meeting you in the Rain.
I think we get another sunny day here too - heading to Bend, Oregon in a bit - wonderful little town in the high desert. I can hardly wait - it'll be cold and dry. :) ( Plus two little grand babies are waiting for us)
John~Those guys must of really been into their music, they hadsome pretty serious looks on their faces. Great job capturing the moment.
Have an awesome weekend!
John, I imagined that I was hearing the music (and not just the little voices in my head) :-) Looks like a fun time can be had by all!
Ahh the mariachi band! Heard them once and you can't help but feel happy listening to them. An Albuquerque blessing!
Darn - I was ready to HEAR them! Have you ever hard of Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers? They are a local Tucson band that has a record on the top 40. Anyway, they incorporate a mariachi band in one of their songs and since then, I've loved hearing the sound. You should post a You Tube of one! Have a great Saturday!
John,
I just can hear them singing Guantanamera, and other songs. Wishing you and Debbie a lovely weekend, we are loving eating outside with temperatures in the 70's, and the Santa Ana winds are on their way to keep it that way for the next few days. A
Hi John, It is fun to go out to eat great food and then have musicians walk around and liven up the experience.
All the best!
Gloria
I dig mariachi bands! I love to request a song -- and then when the band comes over to serenade us at our table ... that's the best :)
My wife and I went out to a place a few years ago that had a band come around to each table like this and it was soooo fun, one of the best dinners we had.
John,
Mariachi bands are great. Nice shot and I'm sure they played very well. :)

Hi John, I, too, can almost hear the music from here! Albuquerque keeps getting higher and higher on my list of places to visit!
Hey John, Where are the dancing girls. Music is great but we need dancing girls. If I were there, I would have jumped up and joined in (dancing that is).
John,
Love the Mariachis! I could almost hear them, Thanks for a great photo.
John, I love Mariachis. When I am in Mexico I will often find a band and hire them for a couple of songs and then call someone in the US and let them listen to it on their cell phone. Next time I am around a good band I will record them and post it here in the Rain.
Good Evening John:
Excellet Localism Post. Albuquerque does have a taste of everything for everyne. After living here for over 15 years , I have really grown t like the variety. Mariachi is on the top of my list. I will be posting about the Four Tops...they are coming to Albuqerque in February.
You know that I have a little Latina living inside of me! She is missing the Latina dance beat thing, but other than that... she is alive in well!
¡Que Magnifique!
Hi John,
Great photo and I can hear the music from here. And I can smell the good food too. I bet it is a very popular place to go and soak up some authentic history. We have a good place in Old Town in San Diego about 2 hours for where I live. Maybe we will go to the zoo in SD and stop in and eat there. They also make the tortillas while you watch. Perhaps I should just fly to Albuquerque and stop by and say hello.
