Creating Introduction Videos

Did you ever want to increase your web presence by using video but did not know how? Well Rainmaker Richard Yates takes you through all the steps. Using a three step process, Richard fakes you from sample photos and text framing, adding content, and adding theme and music.

Richard also provides links to other instructional blogs on subjects such as branding your video to becoming an under 2 minute wonder. This is excellent stuff. Thank you Richard for sharing.

How to Create an Introduction Video: Step Three

Select A Theme and Add Music

If you've not read Step One, do it now:
How to Create a Professional Introduction Video: Step One.

If you've not read Step Two, do it now:
How to Create a Professional Introduction Video: Step Two.

In Step One: "Sample" Photos and Text Frames were provided for Tammy Emineth and Tom Arstingstall.

In Step Two: Actual content was added for their Professional Introduction Videos.  This content can be easily changed.   At this stage, we want to convey personality, identity, experience, qualifications, services provided and contact information.  The photos create an impression of the individual and can SHOW the actual service being provided.

Step Three: We select a Theme and Music

Here are some "Sample" Introduction Videos that I've created with Animoto.  None of them are considered by me to be "FINISHED".  They do illustrate various "Themes" being used and the musical selections demonstrate how the same Theme may deliver a completely different feeling about the video.

The Theme is the animation taking place behind the Text, Photos and Video Clips.  The "Motion" within the Theme is what makes Animoto interesting and distinguishes it from a traditional slide show.

We can always do better,
but Animoto provides a quick and easy way to create an impressive Introduction Video.

I've added a very brief video clip at the beginning of My Introduction Video, however, several video clips may be included to enhance the Animoto Experience.  Here's Two Samples demonstrating the use of Multiple Video Clips:

By following this series, YOU will learn How to Create a Professional Introduction Video, by using Animoto. The FREE Animoto membership limits videos to 30 seconds and has limited features. However, it's an excellent way to get started with making videos.  I pay $30.00 per year and upgraded to the Plus Membership, which provides a few more options, which allows me to create a better Animoto Video.

It's now up to us to put that video to work.  I've included My Introduction Video in My Active Rain Profile and I'm currently using it in several Marketing Posts For Buyers.

Dear First Time Home Buyer, I've Been Looking For You.

Dear First Time Home Buyer, Can You afford NOT To Buy A House?

Dear Short Sale Survivor, It's Time To Buy A House.

In addition, My Introduction Video is included in Three "NEW" Blog Sites that feature Community Videos created by me and local videographers.  I plan to highlight videos created by LOCAL Residents, The City of Mission Viejo and other appropriate LOCAL Connections.  I will be a Creator and Curator of Videos for the benefit of my viewers.

There are lots of other opportunities to use an Introduction Video and better ways to share our Community Videos.  The creation and curation of content is never enough.  We must be willing to syndicate and promote our videos to be seen by as many viewers as possible.  Good luck and best wishes always.
