A different idea on change

be carefulI heard a story of a group of marines in world war 2 who had been pinned down by enemy fire for 2 weeks, and spirits were starting to get bad, and the captain noticed that the men were starting to smell bad as well. The captain mentioned to the sargent that it would be nice if the men had a change of underwear.

The sargent had an idea and announced it to the unit. "I have some good news and some bad news, the good news is that you get a change of underwear tonight", all the men started to cheer. Then when there was a pause, he presented the bad news. "Harry, you change with Fred, Smith, you change with Tom, and Frank, you change with Sam".

The moral of the story is that someone may come up with what sounds like a good idea at first, buy ends up smelling the same.

In some way this reminds me of the last election and the "Change" we  were told we were going to get.  In  a lot of ways actually.

The sad thing is that they probably wouldnt have been able to make the change that they wanted :/

Edward - They both smell don't they

Bud and Beth - I know that I would be reluctant to make that change, but just imagine how you would feel if you had no choice but to make the change. It seems like that's where we are as a country right now. We were told that the greatest country that the world had ever seen was going to change. Most of us are not happy with the changes.

Larry, don't you think anyone currently running would be better than Obama?? I guess it could be worse; we could end up with the current vice president as president.
