I heard a story of a group of marines in world war 2 who had been pinned down by enemy fire for 2 weeks, and spirits were starting to get bad, and the captain noticed that the men were starting to smell bad as well. The captain mentioned to the sargent that it would be nice if the men had a change of underwear.
The sargent had an idea and announced it to the unit. "I have some good news and some bad news, the good news is that you get a change of underwear tonight", all the men started to cheer. Then when there was a pause, he presented the bad news. "Harry, you change with Fred, Smith, you change with Tom, and Frank, you change with Sam".
The moral of the story is that someone may come up with what sounds like a good idea at first, buy ends up smelling the same.
