My husband and I met running a very large monthly antiques and collectibles show in Arizona years ago for Jack Black Enterprises.  That began our love of all things collectible,  garage sales, resale shops, and antique stores.   

When w e moved to Austin we discovered the City-Wide Garage Sale that is held at the Palmer Events Center in Austin, TX, @ 900 Barton Springs Road 

This is normally a two day show on Saturday  10-5 and Sun 11-5.  Parking is free but there is a fee at the door of $5.00 per person.  You can sign up to receive email reminders of upcoming shows and attendance discount coupons by contacting them at www.cwgs.com

This show is supposed to be one of their biggest each year.  Great place to Christmas shop for that something special and unique.  They always have a great selections of paper goods, textiles, furniture, jewelry and western memorabilia.
