Which below looks more like one of your blog posts?

I'm happy to announce that I'm finally opening the doors to my online virtual course, Graphics for Bloggers 101. It is 10 modules and over 4.5 hours of recorded training videos that you can watch at any time convenient to you (you can even download videos to your mobile to watch in your 'in-between' appointment times)

I will teach you the basics and then we'll go many steps further to help your blog pages stand out! You be able to leverage many powerful tools (most of them free) to create eye-catching graphics for your posts. Let's face it, images on our pages help our visitors stay long enough to read more of what we have written! The time that people spend on our pages will increase!

In this class, you will better understand how to optimize your graphics (file size, type, and resolution). You will learn how to create composite graphics adding multiple images together along with overlaid caption text. You will learn how to theme your blog with a great banner and background. How is your blog signature and your profile page - we talk about each of these items! Where do you get images for your posts? I have strategies for you, both online resources and how to create and INDEX effectively your own library of images.

Class is now open to admission! Will I see you there?

Probably should have logged in to my AR account before commenting...like I said, new to this. I actually came across your info when I was googling whether I can copy my Wordpress blog to my AR blog. Is that considered duplicate content? I will be checking out your blog for answers to my many tech questions. Thanks.

Greg - very nice, thanks for coming over to this post to check it out

Karen - I'm happy you stumbled across my posts, glad to meet you - You can (and should) syndicate your wordpress content over to AR. Post first to WP and then subsequently to AR. It is best when you can include at the bottom of the AR copy a link back to the specific post on your WP. Put something like originally posted at and then your link. Google will see the interconnection and give your WP more weight because the AR post is the syndicated version (duplicate yes, penalized no). Hope to see you more in AR. :)

Craig, Thanks so much for this info about WP and AR blogs. I have been searching online for someone to simply explain how and if I can connect the two without being penalized. Thanks for putting it in newbie terms...will definitely recommend you to my peers.

Sorry if this question has already been asked and answered:  but as I look over the course outline, I'm wondering what you are going to replace PINIC with now that it is being shut down in a few weeks?

Craig, You mentioned above about putting a link back to my WP blog saying "Originally posted at ...." I have been putting that in the text box but I see that others have that statement further down near the Generate Short URL statement. How do I get it down there instead of in my text box or does it matter? Thanks.

Craig, I just saw the Assignment 4 in  Cindy's post. Is it too late to catch up to the group? What a great thing you're doing here!

sorry everybody - AR comment notifications being down I didn't know you'd stopped in...

Karen - glad to help! The location of the backlink does not matter. What you are seeing is others on AR have what we call an "outside blog" - this is often in lieu of the WP blog which you have. You are duplicating the same methodology though, your link is just higher up in the post - does not matter. Nice work getting to the bottom of how all this works! :)

Pacita - I am so happy that you enjoy my blogging! thank YOU

Jim - Module 4 in my course focuses on Picnik - I will be re-recording module 4 sometime over the next few weeks. I'm waiting a little to watch google's next move with google+ and picasa v4 to try and incorporate these new tools - I WILL for certain update the info. great question

Connie - NEVER too late - that's one of the advantages of pre-recorded - I hope to keep adding more and more students as we go! thanks! :)
