Located in downtown Newark, the Prudential Center opened up not too long ago. For those of you unfamiliar with Northern New Jersey, the Prudential Center is the newest stadium featuring sports and entertainment events. The sheer size and beauty of this stadium in incredible. The center will host the NHL's New Jersey Devils, Seton Hall basketball, MISL New Jersey Ironmen indoor soccer, concerts, family shows, special events as well as other professional, collegiate and amateur sporting events.
This project is the beginning of a major revitalization project for Newark. It is the first step toward cleaning up Newark and making it a vibrant and energized entertainment district. From what I have seen from the Prudential Center I am looking forward to seeing what the local government has planned for the rest of Newark...it should truly be very exciting.
