Congratulations to both of you for sticking to your plans and all the hard work-BTW, my mother lied to me-she said you can never be too rich or too thin!!!
Roger-Congrats on your 6.2# and another CONGRATS to Amy. YOU BOTH are deserving of the title
I weighted in yesterday and am only down 2 from Jan 1. BUT... I could be up two... so I'll be happy and move on! YOU ARE THE BOMB! 6 pounds was my goal for the MONTH. You did it in ONE WEEK. If I didn't love you so much, I would petition for a dislike button on this one! HA!! ☺
Darn it I missed this call. Congrats to both you and Sheila for sticking to the plan Rog! I'll be having lunch, pigging out with a client today.
Congratulations to Amy this week for "Taking it Off in the Rain"! Job well done Amy... and Roger for creating and maintaining this support group.
Good morning Roger. Glad my saga was a stumper. As for Amy....congrats on the weight and more for kicking the cigarettes: been there done that. As for you, congratulations. A great feat and so good of you to feature someone else.
Wow...that is great ROger...you go boy! Ok, how did you do it? I guess you like your new scale now, huh? LOL
Roger, My new lifestyle starts on February 6th. I've got the book, the workout DVD and my shopping list ready to go. I know I will be posting here much more frequently once i get started. I have a good 40 lbs to vaporize.
Roger, way to kick that major poundage in the butt! Keep up the good work!
Amy, you're a rock "star"! You continue to inspire us all here in this group!
I dropped 1.4 this last week, and was feeling pretty good about that until I read this post! Actually, I love it, it will inspire me to do even better next week! :)
BARFF- who knew how strong this group would be! Congrats to Amy and glad you don't have to attend the Lenn Harley Boot Camp!
Last week I was such an ass about not wanting to weigh in because I had gained so much weight and was discouraged, so I didn't think I was deserving of any star for doing what I should have been doing since I formed this group. I weigh more now than when we began, so that's nothing to get all excited about and it certainly doesn't deserve accolades.
Amy on the other hand has worked hard to be a non-smoker in addition to taking off the extra pounds that she put on because of the struggle with smoking, so I thought she was much more deserving of the gold star than me.
As for the rest of you that "dropped" weight last week, kudos to you!
We're all in this together and I think it's great how we can all support each other. The group isn't growing quite as rapidly as it did in the beginning, but it's great to see some new faces and people who are comfortable enough to share their stories with us.
Any time there is no "gain", you are a star as far as I'm concerned.
Sheila was a very cool Featured Guest. She pretty much had most of you stumped, which makes this game of "Two Lies And A Truth" that much more fun. Thank you Sheila.
Remember, you can submit "Two Lies And A Truth" to me at any time. Just e-mail them to me by clicking on the link below. Make sure you let me know which of the three is the TRUTH so I can post it in my Wednesday post along with the "Star Of The Week".
Thanks to All!
No, thank YOU Roger for keeping us honest and motivated! You ROCK!
Good work, Roger... that reminds me I need to get back into playing "2 truths and a lie".. I usually do pretty well at those!
Great job on the weightloss. I will hopefully get a handle on my schedule enough to join you on this journey this year. I am looking to drop 90 lbs.
Hi Roger--I say congratulations to anyone who has lost even an ounce this week. So sweet of you to share you "star" with Amy--but then, that would be Roger.
Good job Amy diets never did work for me and I had the gastric bypass. Dropped 90 pounds in 10 months and I've been able to keep it off. I congratulate each of you who can do it the old fashioned way my hats off to you
Roger ....You inspire an amazing amount of people here in the RAIN! Keep it up and have a great day in OH!
A big whoo-hooo to both you and Amy!!!
Wow! You both had a wonderful week. Six pounds Roger? Four pounds Amy as a Non-Smoker? You two are my heros.....
