It was a dark and snowy night in Beaverton, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get a great picture. When I looked out back to the trees, this is the beautiful view I had that dark and snowy night. The sad part was by morning pretty much all the snow was gone and this picture was all we had to show for it. The kids were certainly a little disappointed.
That is a great picture! The snow is not hanging around here at all. Recored high temps most of the month. With a few freezy days.
That is a very nice picture. It would make a great painting, too. We are expecting some snow tonight. The sky doesn't look too serious about it yet, but the morning might tell a different story.
What a gorgeous shot, Todd. We've had much of the snow washed away this weekend, but your picture took me right back! So peaceful...
Beaverton is so beautiful in the snow. You do a fabulous job showcasing your area.
Hi Todd, once again a spectacular picture! The lighting is incredible.

Todd,
I know Oregon, but seines like this make me miss Michigan.
If we could just have snow covered pines and 70 degree weather with out the dripping.

That is an impressive photo! I can understand the kids being disappointed but I bet YOU weren't! I hated driving in snow when I lived in Germany!
Fabulous! You've captured some awesome mood there my friend! I love walking around on nights like that. I love the acoustics on nights like that in the snow.
What a wonderful shot, Todd! The color makes it unique. There are opportunities that present themselves sometimes, that if photographer eyes didn't take over, would be missed. This is one of them. It reminds me of an evening when I was driving home from a ski trip, and when we came to a certain place along the road, highway department lights bounced off snow and trees to create a similar effect. Alas, I was too wore out from the day, to haul out my camera.
CONGRATULATIONS on having this photo FEATURED in the Photos group!
that photo makes me feel cold!! great job on it!! that is my kind of snow though, the kind that is gone the next day.. I'm ready for summer!
Todd, that's such a nice photo. I'm sure glad you ran out and snapped it. Surprising it came and went so fast. This has been a strange year in Colorado with the snow too. Not much to speak of.
Looks like that outside my bedrooom window....and will for another 3 months!
Good morning Todd,
Gorgeous picture...makes me want to fly somewhere cold and enjoy the snow.
Beautiful snow picture and I love the brown tone. Thanks for having such a good eye for being creative. Have a nice weekend.
