If you look at an island from a distance, it may just look like a rock. The view from the rock can be spectacular, green and rich, full of life. It can be new and exciting, full of fresh plans and ideas, and at the same time restful and calming. I think it is just a matter of perspective.
I like the rocks in the Pacific.

Rocks Rock Tom. There's nothing more relaxing than a day by the ocean. There's something about it that just recharges your entire self. I should plan a trip to the bay area and put my feet in the water.

Hi Tom--I am laughing because you just replied to the other comment I left and I realize that you are on MY time zone--I am used to getting responses overnight since Maui is far behind most folks on the mainland. Okay, where is this picture taken from? My guess is the north coast road to Hana. You do have me stumped on this one, but then I don't live on whatever side of the Maui this one was taken.
I'd like to find my own private "rock" in the pacific..............bliss!
Tom, Your area doesn't lack for breathtaking scenery! Have always enjoyed a drive up the coast on my California visits. One of my favorite viewing points is Point Loma in San Diego.
Yes, that looks like a great view. I'd love to be able to swim out to that rock and just hang out.
