Hi - anyone have any tips for "creating" an inexpensive dining table? I have some clients that want to stage a dining room but would rather not pay for a rental of a set. I was trying to come up with an inexpensive way to solve this problem. Could use a tablecloth, etc. so as to hide the actual table top if I used plywood, etc. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I don't know how out of season this is, but plastic outdoor tables work well in a pinch. They are the right height and shape. You can place cardboard underneath the table cloth to help smooth out any seams. Use a dramatic centerpiece to help draw the eye away from any flaws. Good luck!
