Mt Washington Summit Conditions at 10:00 AM Monday November 19th, 2007.....COLD ! 13 degrees F, 12.3 mph winds makes the windchill a balmy -1.3 F below.

Did that scare away the crew of Good Morning America and meteorologist Sam Champion? Not at all. The crew came from New York and arrived Friday, November 16th at the summit of Mt. Washington--known for having the worst weather in the world, to do a broadcast from the summit.

Karen Thorp, Summit Intern reported on the Mount Washington Observatory website, "  I  am nothing less than impressed with the planning, the exploring of stock footage, the late nights, and around-the-clock hours of all the Good Morning America crew. It is unbelievable to me how the crew is willing to brave the 100 mph winds and the subsequent bite of the -23°F wind chill temperatures."

We all welcome The Good Morning America Crew to the Mt. Washington Valley ! If anyone in the crew would like to explore the possibility of buying a lovely North Conway NH vacation home here in the White Mountains we would love to help them ! ;)
