This one's for my fellow Keller Williams agents.

If you've been reading a couple of my recent posts, you have heard me mention MOTTO Magazine. I thought the MOTTO Manifesto sounded a lot like our company culture, so I wanted to share it with all of you.

For the Individual:

  • We believe that people want their careers to stand for more than a paycheck
  • We believe that everyone has the right to seek out the work life that makes them happy.
  • We believe that people shouldn't have to check their personal values at the office door; instead those values should match their work environment.

For Companies:

  • We believe that companies play a growing role in our society; they should be a force for good.
  • We believe there is a spirit of each business that shines into communities, employees and customers. That spirit can be as positive (or negative) as the leaders choose to make it.
  • We ardently believe in capitalism. Profitability drives possibilities.

Where They Come Together:

  • People want to connect to a company. Finding that sense of community leads to more fulfilling work.
  • Organizations with a strong mission attract people who work harder and smarter simply because they love being there. The result: the productivity companies crave, achieved humanely.
  • The "soft stuff," as it's sometimes derided, is as important as technology, investment or financial structuring. When companies and individuals get it right, the power is remarkable.
  • You can change your company into a place that will attract people you want as teammates.
Does this sound like it comes from your KW office or what?

Good post.  Not having to check your values at the door is something I love about the KW culture.  Mine fit KW and KW's fit me.

After 15 years with another company the experience at KW is so refreshing.  Our culture, that our people embrace  is what makes it so great.  A company who puts the agents first... what a concept!  A company that doesn't take - take- take from the agents all the time whether they are up or down, but helps them to grow and acheive rather than dig deeper into their wallets. We are making a difference in what it means to be a professional Realtor-- A KW professional is a caring individual who is having a positive impact in the lives of their clients, their community and their families and for us that translates into a wonderful working environment when everyone is like minded about what a benefit we can be in the lives of others.

Happy Holidays to All!!

I hadn't heard of Motto before; their site and magazine looks like something I'll be checking in on from time to time. Their Manifesto is definitely congruent with WI4C2TS.
