It got me thinking, abandoned houses are a big issue for all cities, towns and neighborhoods. This lead me to think, this is yet another good reason to short sale. In many cases, (not all) the seller/owner stays with the house until it sells. They do not have to leave in the middle of the night. This helps keep up property values, and reduces the incidents of breakins.
