AWESOME BIKER NIGHTS

This event is held in the middle of June.  This premier event in Sioux City draws thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts to the City.  Historic 4th Street is closed down letting bikers park their bikes along the street.  There is a Poker Run, Parade of Motorcycles, Swap Meet, Live Music and more.

THE MISSOURI RIVER OPEN BASS TOURNAMENT

The Missouri River Open Bass Tournament attracts top bass fishing teams from around the country.  This is becoming a premier event for bass fisherman.

Saturday in the Park

The annual event kicks off on the Friday evening of the 4th of July weekend.  30,000 visitors flock to the Band Shell in Grandview Park;  with headliners such as Chuck Berry, BB King, Santana, and Buddy Guy.
There are craft booths and plenty of food.

RIVERCADE

This event is held the last full week of July. A downtown parade kicks off the River-Cade summer festival Residents and visitors participate in community wide sporting and entertainment events.  This has been a Siouxland tradition for over 30 years!

CHILI COOK-OFF

The event is usually held in late summer or early fall.  The annual Chili Cook-Off has teams from all over the Siouxland area compete in the event which is held downtown at the Fourth Street Plaza.  There is also a competition for the best salsa and the best booth awards.

ARTSPLASH

This event is held Labor Day weekend along the banks of the Missouri River.  A lot of fun for the family.  Kids can get creative during Artsplash.  There is music and food.  Browse the aisle and check out the talented art work of various artists from around the area.
