The town just issued a a notice concerning the parks and rec information line:
The Parks and Recreation Department is experiencing technical difficulties with its phone system including voice mail. As a result, the daily program cancellation line, (860)652-7689, is not working. the voice mail is also not working on all incoming lines. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Outside vendors are working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. If you need to reach us, please e-mail the department at recreation@glastonbury-ct.gov. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
The Glastonbury High School Pool Schedule for the weekend and coming weeks includes includes several cancellations as follows:
- Saturday, February 4th - Pool Closed after 2:30 p.m. for a Youth Swim Meet
- Sunday, February 5th - Pool Closed from 12-5:30 p.m. for a Youth Swim Meet
- Tuesday, February 14 - No Rec Swim Team from 5:30-7:30 p.m. due to a High School Meet
- Monday, February 20 - Pool Closed due to the Holiday
- Sunday, February 26 - No Rec Swim Team due to a Pool Event
- There are no Adult & Child Swim Lessons on Saturday, February 18th, Monday February 20th, and Wednesday, February 22nd due to the School Vacation Week
