Today I go back to the University of Mary Washington to participate in my 4th alumni basketball game. While my skills have diminished since playing there, I still have a love for the game and I'm always excited to go back and play with great friends/teammates.
Basketball was a lot more than just a game. It taught me hardwork, discipline and leadership - characteristics I now use in my everyday life and profession. Providing the highest level of service, expert advice and strong negotiation ability in real estate requires of these...and while I hated two a days, 5:30 A.M. practices, sprints and long road trips at the time...I couldn't be more thankful for them now.
Wish me luck and I'll be back tomorrow to continue my new passion - helping people through the home buying and selling process!
