Options! Options! Options!  So many to choose from, where does one start?

Well, of course, you start with need and move to desire.  Afterall, what good does a 4bed/3ba 4-level home do when you need a 1-level?  Or why look at a 3bed/1ba home when you really need more room than that?  The best thing to do is start with a list of must-haves BEFORE you go house-hunting. 

For most people, their list of non-negotiables tend to do with size of home, number of bedrooms and number of bathrooms.  Beyond that there is often an "it'll do" mentality.  Sometimes that is okay, but sometimes disappointment can set in with the realization of, "Oh, I didn't think about that".

Below is a little chart to get you started on the needs and the must-haves.  Adapt it to make it your own and let each member of the household indicate which things are important to them.  A completed list will save you time and help your REALTOR find the home of your dreams!
