A final walk thru is a simple yet terrific way to reduce anxiety at the closing table... Everyone can be assured that all is fine or issues can be addressed accordingly. I try to have my final walk throughs as close to closing time as possible so we all can be sure things are in order when we're "at the table". Nice post!
Marilyn, it is a key event that must happen. Just last week my customers made an offer on a house they hadn't seen in 6 months. There was a big cost reduction and they quickly threw out an offer, recalling their love for the house. However, when they came to see the house a few days after their offer, they saw some things had changed. Good thing they noticed them before moving forward.
